This Is Not a Government or Law-Enforcement Office. We operate a private reference site. We cannot confirm a warrant, recall or clear it, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the issuing court or Sheriff's Warrant Division for an official case answer.
Where to Ask for Official Polk County Information
Choose the office that matches the record or paper in hand. Ask for case-specific instructions and note when the information was confirmed.
- County warrant operations: Polk County Sheriff's Warrant Division, 936-329-9016, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It can route county warrant questions; verify status with the office that holds the case.
- After-hours, non-emergency routing: Polk County dispatch, 936-327-6810. Use 911 for an emergency.
- District Court files: Polk County District Clerk, 936-327-6814. A court-file question belongs with the clerk or court named in the case.
- County Court at Law: call 936-327-6856 for the court's route. County Clerk records and District Clerk records are separate indexes.
- County Clerk: 936-327-6805 for records maintained by that office. Ask which index and fee apply before relying on a search result.
- Justice courts: JP1 936-327-6841; JP2 936-646-3674; JP3 936-398-4114; JP4 936-327-6865. Use the precinct printed on the citation.
- Public-record requests: begin at Polk County NextRequest or the county Records page. NextRequest accepts and tracks requests; it is not a warrant search.
- City citations: contact the municipal court named on the paper. The county's municipal warrant guide lists verified city routes and known gaps.
When a matter involves a specific citation, give the issuing court and case number. The Warrant Division is not a substitute for the clerk that holds the case, and a public-record request cannot itself recall process.
